About IMAPer:
IMAPer allows you to view the email on your IMAP server from within BeOS by saving a copy of ALL messages from the server's Inbox into ~/mail/imap on your own drive. You can then read your email using BeMail or any other application that supports standard BeOS email files.

Details about this version:
Much improved synchronization.
Messages deleted on server are deleted from from local folder.
Messages deleted from local folder are deleted from server.
Includes scripts for ease of use.
USE WITH CAUTION: IMAPer now has the ability to delete messages from your server. This allows you to maintain your imap INBOX completely within BeOS. But with this power comes the possibility of losing important messages on the server.
NOTE: (for users of previous versions) In anticipation of support for multiple mailboxes, IMAPer now places messages into ~/mail/imap/INBOX instead of ~/mail/imap. IMAPer will do this automatically. However, if you wish to avoid having to download all of your messages again, you may create the folder ~/mail/imap/INBOX and move all of your message files into there before launching IMAPer. Be aware that any messages that have been deleted from the server will now be deleted when you first launch IMAPer.
