About ncftp-2:
This is an updated version of the ncftp-2.4.2 client that was released last year by Brua Pierre <brua@caids.u-strasbg.fr>, which is why I called it version 2.4.2-2.
Note that this app may need some elements of GeekGadgets, which is available at
http://www.ninemoons.com/GG/
Specifically, this app uses 'curses' quite a bit, so make sure you have it installed.
Specifically, make sure that both
* ncurses-4.2.bin.tgz
* ncurses-4.2-term-bin.tgz
are installed. They can be found under: ftp://ftp.ninemoons.com/pub/geekgadgets/be/i586/snapshots/current/bin/
I had to fix very few things to get it to compile. Source is available as well in ncftp-2.4.2-2-src.zip. There is now a 3.0beta version of ncftp -- perhaps that should be ported over at some point.
