Merc 2.2 is a classic Mud server that has traditionally run on Linux and other versions of Unix. This is a quick port of that application, with no other modifications other than to make it work on BeOS. (Link Fixed, June 2002)
There is no executable in this archive. Merc is designed to be modified by the end user, so the user will need to be able to compile. It will compile out of the box on a BeOS 5 PE system.
This port is done in the spirit of Free BeOS software, within the limits of the license of the original Merc 2.2 license agreement. It is provided at no charge.
