About Desk Camera:
Desk Camera is the ultimate in desktop photography.
I was unhappy with all the screen capture utilities available, so I wrote my own. I call it the Desk Camera. Desk Camera is a screen capture utility for BeOS that loads itself into the BeOS deskbar and is activated using a popup menu or keyboard. This is a new release of this software and it now has four modes of operation. Delay Shot, Instant Shot, Drag-n-Drop, and Shoot Active Application.
Delay Shot - Now features adjustable delay. It works
great for capturing screen savers.
Instant Shot - Self Explanitory
Drag-n-Drop - Left click and drag Desk Camera over
the window you want a shot of. Desk Camera will do
its best to resolve the window specified and shoot
it.
Active Application Shot - This method is activeted
from the keyboard when the Desk Camera input method
is selected.
Desk Camera Input Method - This feature allows you to
map the function keys to Desk Camera capture methods.
Draw Cursor Option - This option will allow you to
have Desk Camera draw the hand cursor into the
screenshot for you.
All four modes allow you to save your snapshots straight to a file in a variety of formats. The best thing about Desk Camera is that it is free to try and cheap to buy. It only costs $8.00 bucks to register Desk Camera so please register.

Details about this version:
This is beta release 4 of the first version of Desk Camera. It is compatible with BeOS 4.5 and later versions. This release is well behaved. I have also added help files. Comments and suggestions are appreciated.
