For example, if you have a folder with 300 pictures in various formats (targa,tiff,gif,etc) and you want them to be converted to jpeg format and scaled to a smaller size, you'll just have to select all files ([alt]-A) in folder, invoke MP Converter add-on ([alt][opt]-P), select the proper target file format, give the new size and click on 'Go!' button, that's all.
