About BeSFV:
Quick and dirty port of PDSFV for Unix to BeOS - Creates and Checks "Simple File Verification" files.
Currently creates and checks .SFV files, also includes a WinSFV compatibility option.
What the heck is an .SFV file you ask?
"SFV files are a CRC fingerprint of an archive. If the .SFV file for an archive is located within the same folder as the archive, using BeSFV will allow you to determine precisely what file is corrupt in the event that an archive-expander program reports an error decompressing the archive."
