About Flash Screen Saver:
A screensaver that plays back Macromedia Flash (SWF) files, so you can have a cartoon (or any other Flash animation) as your screensaver.
Select any SWF file saved locally or use the funny and twisted built-in "Counting Chickens" by Pork & Beans Productions.
Requires Macromedia® Flash™ Player for BeOS, available here at BeBits.
This screensaver is a demonstration of using the Flash player as a replicant and of loading a SWF file that is part of another file (in this case, a resource in the screensaver itself). The SoftwareValet package contains both x86 and PowerPC versions. Source code is included.
PLEASE NOTE: You'll need a registered copy of the player, since due to the way it interacts with the system's screen_blanker, the screensaver will hang the BeOS UI with an unregistered copy of the player. Registration is only $12, and you can register right here. (And then of course you can use all the functions of Macromedia® Flash™ Player for BeOS, including the standalone player and NetPositive integration via the plugin_daemon.)
