About PDF Tools:
PDF Tools consists of a set of command line tools for converting PDF files. The usage is described in the documentation of xpdf. The tools are included in xpdf 0.91 and later, I have compiled them only.
pdfimages
Pdfimages saves images from a Portable Document Format (PDF) file as Portable
Pixmap (PPM), Portable Bitmap (PBM), or JPEG files.
pdfinfo
Pdftoinfo prints the contents of the 'Info' dictionary (plus some other
useful information) from a Portable Document Format (PDF) file.
pdftops
Pdftops converts Portable Document Format files to PostScript so they can be printed.
pdftotext
Pdftotext converts Portable Document Format files to plain text.
