REBOL/View provides a powerful method of creating graphical content (from rich imagery to powerful 2D interfaces) with a high-performance graphical compositing system. REBOL/View is an expanded version of REBOL/Core, an Internet communications language which includes an application engine, Internet protocol support, language interpreter and basic console.

Details about this version:
REBOL/View extends REBOL/Core with a flexible user interface system. View is based on a fast, machine independent 2D compositing engine that includes a wide range of special effects and filters, including contrast, tint, blur, sharpen, scale, gradients, colorize, emboss, and much more. A user input event system handles and tracks keyboard and mouse inputs. Also included is the Visual Interface Dialect (VID) which is a graphical user interface that allows users to easily create interfaces with as little as one line of code. Both predefined and custom user interface objects can be defined using a powerful style and stylesheet methodology. REBOL/View is available as a single user license for personal use only. It's a free download, and it allows FREE REDISTRIBUTION! That's right, you can put it on your web site, put it into a CD-ROM, share it with friends via floppy, beam it over wireless, whatever. Version 1.1 will extend View with a mechanism for developers to share and exchange their programs.
