About Strip44:
Command line application that removes the first 44 bytes (the header) of a raw wave file (RIFF) and leaves just the raw audio data. This is needed if your burning an audio CD using cdrecord (or Melt or another GUI based on cdrecord). Otherwise you get an annoying pop at the beginning of each track. NOTE: this is *NOT* required if you are using the CDBurner that comes with BeOS 5.0.
My PowerPC machine is not working, so I can only provide an x86 executable at this time. You should be able to build it for PowerPC from the source file included in the x86 download, using the SmallEiffel compiler.
Please note: I have discovered that this app does *NOT* detect problems (such as disk full) when writing the output file. I have developed a new version which I am going to include with some other audio file processing tools.
