About lynx-ssl:
Popular text-mode web browser with SSL (https) support.

Unlike the other lynx version available from BeBits this one really works. Supports SSL with OpenSSL. The binary is linked against ncurses, so you'll need ncurses too (ncurses now compiles on BeOS out of the box).

Initial release. I ported it when BeOS PE came out and I put my hands on it to see what Be looks like (and I liked it ;-). Existing lynx port on BeBits was broken, so I ported it for real and ported OpenSSL (again, the one on BeBits is broken).

Networking in lynx is based on libsocket by Naan studio Networking in OpenSSL is already abstracted, so I just wrote BeOS version.

You can get ncurses binaries from the same FTP directory.

I need to clean up my patches and submit them...
