About mplex:
mplex is an MPEG-I system stream multiplexer. It can combine multiple MPEG-I video (.m1v) and MPEG layer 2 audio (.mp2) to create MPEG-I system streams (.mpg). mplex is free software, written by Christoph Moar, and published under the GPL. I've simply "ported" it to BeOS (which simply consisted of modifying the Makefile and "making" it).
Usage: please see the "README" and "INSTRUCT" files included in the archive for simple instructions on basic usage.
The reason I've posted this app is that, in conjuction with mpegtools by Marcus Lundblad, it is now possible to create MPEG-I system files (video and audio) from projects created using personalStudio.
I have posted detailed instructions on using mplex, mpegtools and personalStudio here.
