About SLRN newsreader:
SLRN is a fast and flexible multiplatform newsreader. Try SLRN if you're looking for a textmode newsreader for BeOS.
- SLRN is portable. Your .slrnrc configuration file in BeOS will work SLRN on all other platforms. Take SLRN wherever you go!
- SLRN is very very fast. If you read high volume newsfroups, slrn is for you.
- SLRN runs from Terminal. Read news while logged into your BeOS machine remotely.
- SLRN is great at downloading binaries.
- SLRN works with slrnpull for spooling news locally. Very handy.

Details about this version:
Lots of little tweaks and things. Not that previous versions were that terribly unstable, but this version should be extra super solid. Portability has been improved quite a bit too, although that doesn't affect end users much. Be advised that the source will currently build only on net_server systems.
