About TuxTyping:
TuxTyping is an educational typing tutor for children starring Tux, the Linux Penguin. It is graphical and requires SDL. It is copyrighted under the Gnu General Public License (included with the source code) and is freely distributable under the Gnu GPL's requirements.
TuxTyping is the result of much hard work by Sam "Criswell" Hart and the rest of the Digital Monkey team.
I've just helped out by building it for BeOS.

(To install the game on your system, please read the INSTALL file.)
In Tux Typing you control Tux as he searches for fish to eat. Fish fall
from the top of the screen. These fish have letters on them. To make Tux
eat the letter, simply press the key corresponding to that letter.
Tux Typing is Free-Software, distributable under the GNU General Public
License. Please read COPYING for more info.
Also, for those who may or may not be wondering: Yes, the rumors are
true.... Tux Typing has a special `hidden' option. See if you can figure
out what it is... ;)

We are extraordinarily pleased to announce the FIRST STABLE release (version 1.0) of Tux Typing! Tux Typing is an "edutainment" typing tutor game starring Tux, the Linux Penguin.
This release (version 1.0) is the result of over a year of development. It is a stable release, meaning it is feature-complete and should be relatively bug-free.
