About M$CAB extractor package:
Plain port (just recompilation) of cabextract utility originally written by Stuart Caie. Allow view and extract M$ .CAB archives under BeOS.
New PKG installation automatically copy cabextract binaries to /boot/home/config/bin and register cabextract in BeOS MIME database with .cab extension, sniffer rules, and big Bill Gate's money bag as associated icon ... =)
After installing cabextract you will can open, view and expand M$CAB archives in the same manner as "built-in" BeOS archive types - zip, tar, gzip ... Also you will can call "Identify" command on archives that has CAB type but hasn't .cab extension ...
