About reindex:
adds "old" files to a newly created attribute index.
Do you ever missed any files in your queries when using a recently added attribute index? BFS does not care about "old" files after you add a new index. Using "reindex" you don't need to copy those files to another place any longer to let them appear in this newly created index.
"reindex" rewrites the chosen attributes to the specified file(s), which adds the attribute to an existing BFS index.
