About YGM - "You've Got Mail":
YGM is a pop3 e-mail notification program.
YGM logs on an specified pop3 server and inquires whether new e-mails are waiting for the user. It does not load the e-mails from the server, but it can start a program, if on the server one or more e-mails are waiting. So e.g. it can bring a requester on the display or play a sound file, or - and therefore I have written it - start an e-mail program, like Mail-It. With scripts you can start several programs at once, too.
The advantage of YGM is that it is small and can therefore run constantly in the background, without using much memory or processor time.
This program could be interesting for people, those have a permanent connection to the internet and therefore are always online.
