About Manic Miner 1.6.2:
Manic Miner.. what can I say. I spent endless hours on my old rubber keyed Speccy playing this one!! This is a port of the Retrospec/Andy Noble Manic Miner PC. (http://retrospec.sgn.net/users/anoble/games.html) to BeOS.
This is an initial 'dirty' port of Manic Miner PC to BeOS.
It should run from tracker *or* a terminal. If you go via the terminal you get to set some wacky switches to 'enhance' your game playing enjoyment.
Currently there's no sound whatsoever. This will be fixed in the next version, the beta of which already has all the sound working bar the in game tune. I just need to 'tweak' it for non sound systems..
It uses Allegro, but shouldn't require the hefty Allegro runtime coz I static linked the fellow to avoid this annoying scenario. If you do require Allegro, it was built with the latest WIP from the Allegro page.
