About verse:
This command-line program displays a daily devotional verse from the Bible (Various English translations).
This utility is part of the stable distribution of Debian GNU/Linux (http://packages.debian.org/stable/doc/verse.html). I just modified the make file. If you are interested, the original source for linux can be downloaded.
Please direct any questions or comments about verse itself to Oliver Elphick. If your concerns regard this BeOS-specific build, feel free to contact me.
One way to use this program is by adding a line to your .profile. Every time you start Terminal, the verse of the day will be displayed.

Details about this version:
Corrected typographical errors in daily.verse. Removed extraneous spaces from daily.verse. Removed more files from the archive that were unnecessary under BeOS. Created verse-alert. Re-wrote README.
verse-alert is a small script that uses the standard BeOS information alert box to show the verse of the day graphically.
