Handy/SDL is the Simple Directmedia Layer port of the mighty WIN32/DirectX Atari Lynx emulator Handy from the author Keith Wilkins. This emulator allows you to run Atari Lynx rom images on your BeOS operating system by using the Simple Directmedia Library (http://www.libsdl.org).

Handy/SDL 0.82 R1 :
- Insync with the Handy 0.88 WIN32 emulation-core;
- Complete (and with the help of Relnev) sound support;
- In-emu autoskip feature (very handy on slow machines);
- Savestate support;
- ZIP/GZIP support;
- Joystick support;
- Screenshot implementation (10 per game);
- Fast 16-bit graphical output;
- Scaling/Scanline implementation;
ZIP and GZIP support is done by using the zlib library which is available through BeBits or in the gnupro installation. For development the SDL 1.2.2 library was used.
