About mpeg2dec:
A very very fast MPEG-1/2 video decoder
Included are binaries of mpeg2dec and its accompanying library, libmpeg2. If you only want to use mpeg2dec, you don't even need to install libmpeg2, because mpeg2dec has been statically linked to libmpeg2. (You'd only be saving 250 KB, so come on...) Maybe some smart guy could use libmpeg2 to make a really really fast Media Kit video decoder for MPEG-1/2....

I made this from a (9-month old) version 0.2.0. It doesn't seem like much has changed on the CVS since then, but I may recompile it again before a new point release come out.
