About uptime:
uptime is a program that tells you how long your system has been up.
Though this feature is in the "about" box for the BeOS, I've still found it handy to have on the command line.
Source is included. You have to type "make" in Terminal to install it.
"... and then I had to reboot a hundred times,
though tangled threads and corporate crimes,
you may never find love down a T1 line."
- Baron Arnold, "/boot/optional/sounds/virtual (void)"
