About PowerPulsar:
FFT spectro psychedelic sound analyser.
PowerPulsar is an FFT spectro psychedelic sound analyser.
This is an app that I started after listening Trance Techno music. It also works with other types of music, if you like !
The main idea is that it runs an FFT on the music and displays psychedelic stuff in full screen, using your parameters. But PowerPulsar is merely an engine, it does not do any actual rendering by itself. Rather, all effects are done by external add-ons that anyone can easily write using the delivered C++ API.
The archive comes with some existing add-ons sample code. Have a look at these sources and headers. If you need more information regarding how to create add-ons, please let me know!
To run this, you need an audio CD device.
