About BFS-tools:
BFS recovery/info tools collection.
This is a collection of some, currently non-destructive command line BFS tools.
The following tools are included:
- bfsinfo you can use this program to get some
information about the underlying structure of your BFS disk.
- bfswhich this application can tell you which file covers a particular block.
- chkindex can be used to check the integrity
and validity of the indices on your BFS disk.
- copy_to_bfs_image can copy files to a BFS image file without having to mount it.
- recover is the most complex program of the
collection - it can be used to recover data on corrupt BFS disks which you
can't even mount.

Details about this version:
- recover now limits its memory use depending on the free
memory left.
- Applied some patches to recover by Andrew Bachmann to make
it behave better on broken disks.
- Calmed down the output of recover unless the new -v option
for verbose output was specified.
- The tools are now more flexible about how the volume path is
specified.
