About Beff:
Beff (aka. Biff for Be, rhymes with beef) is a POP3 email notification program. It is small and easy to use. You can build a list of POP3 servers and Beff will tell you how many message await you on them.
Beff can list/check multiple email server at different intervals. It can play a sound when you have a change in a mailbox and when a server's listing is double clicked a shell command can be executed.
