It is based on Emacs Lisp, and feature many modes for editing from music partitions to LaTeX, or C, C++, and many other languages.

Details about this version:
XEmacs-cvs20041024 (beta18, "chestnut"), with native BeOS GUI.
Requires BONE.
You will also need to download some packages from the XEmacs website (or get the sumo file to get them all).
Mostly working now, lacking scrollbars, menubars and toolbars, some other bugs not yet fixed.
Latest patch for those advanturous souls who want to built it by themselves.
