About Snap:
Snap is a windows' style Run command. it features full filename/ path AutoCompletion and saves all previously launched items as symlinks and in a History pop-up menu.
i wrote Snap because i'm addicted to use of the Run command on my windows machine, and i missed the Win+R shortcut as a way to launch things quickly.
i would suggest adding a SpicyKey (Win+R) to launch Snap, and also to symlink it in ~/config/be
features:
1. full filename/pathname AutoCompletion
2. History popup-menu based on symlinks accesible through the
Tracker (at ~/config/settings/snap/history)
3. prevents autocompletion on BackSpace/Delete (via a BMessageFilter)
source is available.
i tried to make the code very clean and readable, and it is fairly well commented.
(also did my best to match the OpenTracker coding guidelines)
ppc build now included!
