About Multiaudio MediaAddon:
This is a multi_audio media addon replacement for BeOS R5
It implements the multi_audio API used in BeOSR5. However the API has been modified a bit to easily implement mixers (ie group and mux values)
To be used with the emuxki driver.
Features :
- Groups, gains, enables and selections mixer controls
- 2 voices for playing (1 stereo and 1 with 4 channels) and 2 voices for recording (2 stereo)
- only 16 bits/48khz format
- not complete, nor bug free
Tested with a Soundblaster Live! 1024 and an Audigy 2 with the LATEST Emuxki driver (see related links below). Playing with Soundplay/CLAmp, Recording with SoundRecorder/ SoundPlay Input plugin, Cortex.
After installing, you may have an error in the Media Preferences because the old addon is not here any more. It's not a bug from the addon nor from the driver.

Details about this version:
Alpha 6 release. Binary only.
Includes an install script (Works on Dano). It handles the move of the original addon for uninstall and places the addon in your home media addon directory.
Tested on BeOSR5 with the alpha 10 of the Emuxki driver and a Soundblaster Live! 1024 and an Audigy2, and with the auvia and auich drivers.
Settings are saved now. Support for "more than 2 buffers" drivers. Internal latency = 1 buffer.
