About ld_switch:
Simple installer for the OpenBeOS linker
OpenBeOS requires use of the linker from Dano to build correctly. While this is available at the OpenBeOS website, there is no easy way to install it or revert to the original linker.
This is solved by ld_switch which includes both linkers, and scripts to install either one easily from the terminal. The scripts also keep track of which version is currently installed.
Note:
OpenBeOS must be built under BeOS 5.0.3 version. You can't compile it under Dano because the toolchain, headers and libraries are all different.
