glark is a text searching utility like grep.
color highlighting of matches,context around matches,complex expressions ("and" and "or"),grep output emulation,and automatic exclusion of non-text files.
search results are colorful and easy to see.
glark is written in ruby.
Please install ruby before using glark.
I'm packaging only.
1.6.4:
This version contains a fix for a problem displaying inverted (-v) matches in grep output mode. Documentation has been refined. Added is the -y / --extract-matches option, to display only the portion that matched, or a subportion (...), if specified. Several options now also take commonly misspecified alternatives, such as --with-filename, which also accepts --with-filenames.
1.6.3:
In this version, support has been added for processing binary files as GNU grep does. Improved handling of internal errors, specifically by not producing the stack trace where the error occurred. Code has been significantly refactored, and has been partitioned into modules.
