Privoxy is a web proxy with advanced filtering capabilities for protecting privacy, filtering web page content, managing cookies, controlling access, and removing ads, banners, pop-ups and other obnoxious junk. It is based on the Internet Junkbuster.
Now for both net_server and bone. Enjoy.
Mini-instructions:
1- Unzip.
2- Type "privoxy &" on a terminal in that directory.
3- Set your browser to use a proxy on 127.0.0.1 port 8118.
4- Test and/or configure your proxy using this address: "http://p.p/" or "http://config.privoxy.org/" (these pages are generated by the proxy, you don't need to go online to use them).
