About FilWip:
FilWip is a nifty app that cleans your system of unwanted files.
FilWip is the BeOS Clean-Up Manager replacement app.
It's a useful little utility that allows you to keep your system clean of unwanted data and information such as temporary files, internet caches, logs and the like.
This utility is especially useful to free-up some disk space by getting rid of unwanted data. It's similar to the Windows' Disk Clean-Up but its faster and offers more items to be cleaned.
FilWip comes with the following plugins:
NetPositive cache, cookies, cookie logs, history etc.
Opera cache, cookies, global history, visited links etc.
Temporary files
System event log
Trashed items (files & folders in the Trash)
Bash-command history
Internet logs (PPP read and write logs)
Mozilla cache, history
If you use this utility you don't need to traverse folder to folder clearing such stuff. Simply fire it up and click "Clean-Up". It does all the dirty work for you! and also remembers the items from your previous clean-up job.
Another good reason for you to use this utility is that you free up some disk space. For Personal Edition users will find it very useful.
FilWip is plugin based and is fully customizable. So now all of you who wanted Mozilla support etc. have it. FilWip has lots of new additions compared to the Clean-Up Manager including GUI improvements. Here's a short list:
* Plugins - User-editable files that allow you to control what FilWip cleans.
* Progress bar - Now FilWip shows the progress of the clean-up operation.
* Live monitoring - FilWip monitors changes to files "live".
* Overview - FilWip shows overview of files - number of files, sizes
* Auto selection - FilWip has several options for automatic selection of plugins.
* Smart loading - FilWip can load only those things that are appropriate to your system.
* Safety Check - Ensures your plugins don't delete files critical to your system.
* Recursive deletion - Meaning, files inside sub-folders are also deleted.

Once you install FilWip, please edit the mozilla plugin and change the paths if needed (if you have Mozilla installed).
Also edit the NetPositive plugin and change /boot/home/config/settings/History to /boot/home/config/settings/NetPositive/History. This is a typo which will be fixed in the next release of FilWip, but you can do this manually for the time being.
