About HFS Formatter:
This program gives you an opportunity to format you floppy disks in HFS filesystem, a filesystem used in Macintosh. After that, you will be able to use your floppy in both BeOS and MacOS. You will be provided read and write access to floppy.

This program gives you an opportunity to format you floppy disks in HFS filesystem, a filesystem used in Macintosh. After that, you will be able to use your floppy in both BeOS and MacOS. You will be provided read and write access to floppy.
The main benefit is that HFS floppies are mounted faster than FAT ones.
The only problem is that most PC operating systems such as Windows, Dos, Linux etc. don't support HFS.
Installer:
Installer makes a link in your Be menu, so you can format floppies with ease.
Attributes:
MacOS supports file attributes, but their structure is different than in BeOS, so you won't be able to view attributes on files from Macintosh as well as to save attributes with BeOS files.
