About Xchat:
X-Chat is an IRC client for UNIX operating systems. It runs on most BSD and POSIX compliant operating systems.
I.R.C. stands for Internet Relay Chat, see http://irchelp.org for more information about IRC in general. Xchat requires GTK+ and the X11 environment for BeOS (Xbeos). This version also requires a BeOS with BONE.
