About PSP Tools:
It's long-standing tradition for engineers to create their own
tools to improve their ability to produce quality products.
Here are a few tools which help developer productivity
here at BDH. They are inspired from work done using the
Personal Sofware Process, from Watts Humphrey's book
"A Discipline for Software Engineering".
Script: linecounter (required GeekGadgets "indent")
This script counts lines of code, ignoring
comments and blank lines. If you use CVS, you can have it compare any
combination of working versions and tags to provide a count of new, deleted,
changed, and updated lines (again, ignoring comments and blank lines).
Script: status (requires GeekGadgets "cvs")
This script shows what files have changed in your working set,
and which might need to be 'cvs add'ed and 'cvs commit'ed.
Handy when you lost track of what work has happened in a workarea.
