About Visual Be++:
Visual Be++ allows you to approach the software development process in a way similar to that allowed by RAD tools such as Delphi and Visual Basic that are available on other platforms.
This is not a port of a design tool for some other platform; Visual Be++ was written ground-up for the BeOS. It supports the ability to create your own custom controls, and later versions will support the ability to create your own code generator as well. This will allow Visual Be++ to generate not only C++ code, but also Java, for example.

Details about this version:
This version fixes a couple of minor bugs, and updates the Component Palette with cool-looking bitmaps. If you're installing this over an earlier version of Visual Be++, BE SURE to over-write all of the binaries in Visual Be++'s program directory with the new files, or you'll get weird and unexplainable crashes. The easiest way to ensure that things are working right is to delete the previous installation of Visual Be++ before installing this version.
