About AVR SoundPlay Plug-in:
SoundPlay plugin to play back AVR (Audio Visual Research) format audio sample files, often found on the ST
This plug-in supports playback of 8 and 16 bit* uncompressed linear
AVR files, signed and unsigned, mono and stereo, at any sample rate
between 1KHz and 192KHz.
The AVR file format was used extensively on the Atari ST platform, although it may be more widespread than this.
* 16 bit files untested due to lack of files or format documentation
