About mkisobfs:
A utility to create BFS image files.
- Creates images that can be mounted within BeOS, or burned to CD.
- Calculates size and copies files into the image.
- Relies on 'mkbfs' and 'cp' being present in /boot/beos/bin (default with BeOS & Zeta).
Known issues:
- Always leaves Home/Desktop/Trash in image, even if you don't create it (the code present in the app to delete this does work, but BeOS seems to add it back at some point before the image is unmounted).
Notes:
I am releasing this utility simply because it may possibly be of use to others. I created it as an attempt to get around an "unmount" caching bug in BeOS for my ongoing CD burner software work (attempt failed :-( but the utility works on its own anyway!).
Please try it, but bear in mind that it is an Alpha release. Thanks to Maurice Michalski for the original Helios code from which this was heavily inspired.
