About SquidGuard (DansGuardian) for BeOS:
This is a port of SquidGuard (Old version of DansGurdian) to BeOS. This is the SOURCE CODE. DO NOT type 'configure' or 'make' just type 'make install'. The real 'Squid' is in the works. SG may or may not work without it. Requires BONE.
To install:Type 'make install'
You will need to configure it your self. There is a sample config file in the 'sample' directory. (DUH!) Just run the app (in /boot/home/config/bin) and it will tell you where to put everything.
SG may or may not work without "BeSquid" which you should (hopefully) see soon. If it doesn't try running Privoxy/JunkBuster on port 3128. As this method of running a different proxy on the same port works on Linux. Any comments? Just TalkBack.
