About Mathomatic:
BeOS port of Mathomatic. Mathomatic is a small, portable, general purpose CAS (Computer Algebra System).
It is totally free software (GNU LGPL license). This is a console mode application. It has been under development since 1986 and now stands at 15,000 lines of highly efficient code. The author is George Gesslein II.
Mathomatic is a symbolic interpreter that can:
*Solve, simplify, and compare algebraic equations,
*Perform calculus transformations,
*Help with finite series analysis,
*Perform complex number and polynomial arithmetic,
*Generate efficient C or Java code from equations.
Requires readline and ncurses.

Details about this version:
Includes the secure version of mathomatic, with no file I/O or shelling out, which can safely be used as a telnet application or CGI program.
Changes made to Mathomatic V12.4.10:
The C complex number library was finished and perfected (complex_lib.c).
Yet another code cleanup.
Added "UNIX" compile-time define to the Prime Number Tools.
Some improvements to the Mathomatic documentation.
