About DVB media_addon:
provides the media kit interface to DVB hardware kernel drivers.
Does only support BeOS R5.
This is a technology preview release.
In order to watch DVB with BeOS, you also need the channel settings files, a DVB audio decoder addon, a DVB video decoder addon, the TV-O-Rama application, and a DVB hardware driver, as well as a DVB card supported by the driver.

The list of known problems so far:
- crackling audio sometimes (depends on soundcard, will be fixed)
- no audio with some channels (depends on unrecognized stream encoding, will be fixed)
