About speedstep driver P3, ICH:
Driver and preferences app for PIII speedstep technology (ICH-4 or ICH-3 chipsets). This driver is only tested with ICH-3, Intel P3 Tualatin.
The driver based on the linux speedstep-ich driver so it is licensed under GPL. If this driver don t work on your computer ask and I will try to help.
You can use the preference app to set the state of your cpu (high / low frequency) or let the app set the cpu speed automaticly depending on your curent cpu usage. The gui is licensed under MIT.
WARNING: if running with the lower CPU frequency the clock will run to slow! :-) Ideas to solving this problem are welcome!.
I give no warrenty that this software don t crash your computer so be carefull!
