About Intel Digital Thermal Sensor Driver:
Reads the temperature of Intel Core 2 processors under BeOS. Also works with some earlier Intel CPUs.
Temperatures are read using the Digital Thermal Sensor (DTS). This is a temperature measurement system integrated directly into the CPU itself. As a result, it is generally very accurate, and works reliably regardless of the motherboard.
Note: This may also work with Pentium 4 / Pentium M CPUs, but the temperature reading will not be valid -- only the thermal throttling information is available (which can be used as an indirect method to guess whether the CPU is too hot).
