About Cubist:
Cubist is a computerized 3D version of the famous Rubik's
Cube (tm). Cubist uses OpenGL for its rendering and animation,
with different "front ends" (GLUT, BGLView, and ScreenSaver
add-on) over top of a core set of Cube and OpenGL routines. The
GLUT version (requires the GLUT library, not included) is
interactive and can be used to manipulate the Cube.

Details about this version:
First version, with basic 3D graphics. Everything (hopefully) works OK, but the ScreenSaver version really needs 3D hardware acceleration to be usable (although the preview looks cool with just a software renderer).
NOTE!!!! The first version accidentally had the GLUT lib
included in the project for the BGLView version, requiring you
to have GLUT installed to run either version. I just posted
(~8:50am EST US, October 11) a new copy with the same name with
this problem fixed. If you ran into this problem, just download
it again (or edit the project yourself and recompile). Sorry!
