About Surgeon:
Surgeon is a "People" replacement (started on BeOS PR1 which didn't come with such an app). StyledEdit documentation is included. Also in the archive as of version 0.91 is mkpeople, a little command line utility to generate Person files from a file containing a list of name/email address pairs. mkpeople comes with documentation and source.
