About ReloadDeskbarIcons:
This application will reload application icons which appear in the Deskbar using BMessages, can be used with Deskbar restarting apps such as DeskAttendant.
If the deskbar is restarted application icons (such as those for ProcessController, GimICQ and Mail-It) will not reappear. Some application icons such as ProcessController or DUN can be reloaded via command line options, but others need to be sent BMessages to reload the icon. Use this application to specify the target application and format of the BMessages to reload these icons.
If you are the developer of an application that uses a Deskbar icon, please send me the necessary BMessage information so I can add your app to the included apps list. If anyone has applications they would like to see added to the included items, E-mail me with your requests and I will see if I can contact the developer or figure out what the settings for that app are.
Check out DeskAttendant also located here on BeBits. Using ReloadDeskbarIcons with DeskAttendant is the only complete solution to restarting the Deskbar and reloading all the icons.
