Note to modem users: This packages contains encoding tables for CJK font support (Chinese, Japanese, Korean). Without these tables the size of the BePDF installation package is about 2 MB only. Requirements for Asian Font Support:

To render such documents correctly, a font with appropriate glyphes is required. Haru is such a font, that has most Japanese and Chinese glyphes, and is included with BeOS 5 Pro (but it is not installed by default and can be copied from the BeOS CDROM to /boot/home/fonts/ttfonts or /boot/beos/etc/fonts/ttfonts. BeOS will not recognize the font until it is rebooted or a rescan is made in the BeOS Fonts preferences).
BeOS 5 PE users can download this font from the ftp-server at Be Inc. here (7.51MB).

This is a localization update, BePDF supports now Slovak and Bulgarian. The new language catalogs can be found in the Source Code section below (Localization Update). Important Note:

The archives of the first ~150 downloads included a broken link in the file Default.catalog in the locale directory. Starting BePDF on a system where BePDF was not installed before or where Default.catalog was selected as the UI language will terminate it with an error message. This can be fixed either downloading the package again or removing Default.catalog from the locale directory and creating a link from e.g. English.catalog to Default.catalog.
