Tachyon 0.92 is primarily a performance update, yielding
speed increases of 70% or more on complex scenes. The new
distribution also contains full image maps and geometry
for all of the example scenes, and pre-compiled binaries
for 14 platforms including BEOS.
This version also includes new platform support for Linux on Alpha, and MacOS-X.

Rewrote primary ray generation code in preparation for
implementing several new camera models. The new code
also increases efficiency by eliminating some of the
per-pixel constant overhead in the ray tracing process,
and makes real-time ray tracing run a bit faster.
Also updated startup messages, and improved the
Tachyon web site.
