Fixes crashing bug with upload. Is very fast (2-3x MacPoET), stable (no crashes) and generally good. This version also includes some more options that (hopefully) you shouldn't need to touch. Enjoy!

Fixes an embarassing crashing bug with r1 on x86. Note to world: don't subclass BStandardPacket. It's bad. This version is very stable, fast, and otherwise great.
Note: there is an untested CHAP client available at http://www.users.qwest.net/~choice83833910/CHAP.zip

Very reliable, very fast, etc. Also, in this release, installation and configuration almost handles itself (yay!). I have also included the source to a very early development release of a pptp client that does not work yet. If you have a pptp connection, please help out with this.
Look for a CHAP driver in a future release.

Beta 5.1 does lots of nifty things. Dynamic DNS acquisition should properly now and PPPoE should connect more reliably. I have, for instance, written this description and uploaded the archive via my DSL line. As such, the software should be moving out of beta shortly. Also, there is now full French documentation and the common problems file has updated.
Also, I am seriously considering writing a pptp client as well. Please e-mail me if there is much interest in this.
Note: If this binary does not work properly, please download Beta 5.0. You get find it under version history.

This version has fixed an extremely serious but relatively small bug that was precluding any outbound data transfer to speak of in Beta 4.
If you see NO CARRIER as a response, you are either not using PPPoE or are using a non-standard PPPoE implementation. If you are sure of the latter, e-mail me and I will try to add support for your PPPoE connection.

I have fixed a rather serious bug that was dropping packets all over the place and precluded long downloads, ssh, and ftp. The documentation is also slightly improved and the code is very much cleaned up (the archive is down 20K).

English:
This release works PERFECTLY on my computer. Working connection every time. I have replaced the pppoe_port add-on with a pty, which works much better. This version seems to be a little bit slower than the last, although latency is much improved (and it connects, big improvement). I also finally got around to updating the Read Me.
Enjoy!
I goofed on the binary. The x86 binary is in PPPoE/src/(obj.x86), not in PPPoE/bin/x86.
Note to Users of Previous Versions:
You absolutely must delete the pppoe_port add-on from your computer.
