Added Features:
Scrubba now has a setting to automatically delete the ring buffer on
exit. This option allows users to trade-off between spare disk space
and having a persistent ring buffer.
When the playback slider has focus, the left and right arrow keys will
scrub a variable number of frames depending on which modifier keys are
down. The control key moves 6 frames and the option key moves 30
frames.
The pattern Scrubba uses to drop DV frames before decoding them (but
after capturing them) can now be specified using the Options menu.
This allows users to "fine-tune" online playback of DV. This setting
does not effect offline playback.
The values Scrubba uses for raw (bt848) video resolution and bit-depth
are now kept in its settings file and can be adjusted using the
Options menu. This reduces the need to use the Media preferences
application before running Scrubba. However, changes to these
settings do require you to restart Scrubba before they take effect.
Added Transport menu containing items analagous to the three buttons.
The new items have keyboard shortcuts to improve keyboard control of
core functionality.
Reorganized menus, moving all items related to settings into the
Options menu.
Bug Fixes:
string values input via command prompt now trimmed of spaces and tabs.
paths input via command prompt can now contain whitespace.
empty strings input via command prompt now recognized as bad values.
bad ring buffer file names now handled a little better.
start & stop capture menu item now tracks current capture filter
state properly.
when playback head is paused, current frame is redrawn when needed.
no longer reading current frame on pause...
on pause, focus now goes to the playback head.
on start-up, default values now set for missing settings. upgraders
should keep their old settings and get the proper defaults new ones.
better error handling in clip export process.
clip menu now allows selection of quicktime or avi for raw DV export.

This version of Scrubba is a public beta / demo. It draws a pattern
on top of exported images and clips. A commercial version of Scrubba
without the overlay, added features, better documentation, and bug
fixes will be available soon.
